4.22.08 - Jeft Stott - SaracenJef Stott has crafted a completely unique take on Middle Eastern Electronica, fusing traditional sounds with dub and dance music. He has studied with master musicians from Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, and Turkey and is a founding member of the groups Lumin and Stellamara. Saracen is his debut solo full length release.
5.27.08 - Sonantes - Sonantes
Sonantes is a Sao Paulo based musical collective featuring the vocal talents of breakout artist, Céu collaborating with members of Brazilian groups Nação Zumbi and Instituto as well as such guest stars as Siba, Lucio Maia, Beto Villares, Apollo 9 and others. This special "labor of love" project brought together some of the most exciting artists from Sao Paulo's vital music scene in a creative atmosphere where they could combine Brazilian, African, Cuban and electronic influences to create a unique collection of atmospheric songs that sound like they were written for a series of imaginary films.
