British cult fave Stephen Coates, the artist who calls himself The Real Tuesday Weld (yes, really) makes his comeback to North America with the aptly titled Return of the Clerkenwell Kid. A mix of Tom Waits, Serge Gainsbourg, Ennio Morricone and Al Bowlly (yes, really again), The Real Tuesday Weld sings about nothing other than love, bittersweet love. To get a head start on this fellow, check out his 2004 release, I, Lucifer, the imaginary soundtrack to a best-selling novel in the U.K. about the Devil coming back to earth for another go around. Or watch the Sundance award winning video to his song "Bathtime in Clerkenwell" created by Russian animator Alex Budovsky.
